didn’t make a very big difference. I think this is mainly because its an
auto. the simplest/cheapest/quickest things you can do for power are intake
exhaust chip
@rmsyster it optimizes basic bolt on upgrades such as intake and exhaust. i
wasnt afraid of it messing up my car because the chip is made by Dinan,
they are a very reputable bmw tuner

eBay for $60. i think its worth it, at least until turbo time… You can
always get illigit copies on ebay for like 40
@benjaminmaassen it gave me much more mid-range torque so acceleration
feels greatly improved. The raises rev-limiter is a blast because now i can
take it up to 7200 if i want. Top speed i don’t know, never topped it out
but the speed governor is removed

install the chip and that’s it? no programming needed?

First you should explain where it is, then the only confusing part is that
you need to unfold the tabs to remove the cover. You pointed at the tabs.
Do this chip work in e36 318is manual?

@redgts00 OH, the check engine light. no it did not. i have the airbag and
ABS lights on, bought the car that way…..
