A few missed bits…
Anti-squeal on the pads before reinstallation
Spray down the new rotors with brake cleaner
Caliper grease on all the moving parts
Anti seize on ALL the bolts
Don’t step on the brake pedal once the calipers are off
Remove the master cylinder lid before compressing the piston.
F.Y.I for the noobs!!!

Sean Simmons says:

hey stupid question here, I cant figure out for the life of me where to put
my jack I see where the jack stand goes but any place around it keeps
popping my plastics off, I’m worried i’m going to break them. I have a
09-335ix

vmaxx55 says:

you’ll only bleed the system after a pad replacement if the caliper piston
slips out (highly unlikely). happened to me one cuz I’m a noob

Neil McGlennon says:

Great video. Do you recommend bleeding the brake lines here as well? Looks
like there may not be any need.

FCP Euro says:

Unless you’re removing the lines for some reason, there is no need to bleed
the lines after this. Hope that helps!

I have the sedan 2007 335i and this is my first import. Should I just go
with the standard and take it in to a shop or should i take my chances and
do it myself?

FCP Euro says:

Honestly it’s not too difficult, I say DIY!

FCP Euro says:

Once you’ve verified that the sensor is plugged in correctly, Put your key
in – hold down the mileage trip reset button – once you see a yellow
triangle appear let it go – this will put you into reset mode. Now toggle
through until you find brakes front or back then hold the BC side button
down and it will reset. Hope that helps.
