did you release the tension on the main drive belt from under the car or
from above?
This can be installed with the fan on. You just have to carefully weave the
belt around.
Yes, the routing does matter. Follow the routing guide in the Bentley
Manual. We noticed this error after video release and acknowledged it in a
previous comment.
What’s the hex tool size for the driver side?
Gahhh, I don’t have that dang water pump wrench! And i’m pretty sure the
pulley or water pump is damaged =/
Great informational video! Regarding the belt routing, according to the
Bentley manual, it shows the belt going under the top pulley then over the
alternator, however, your belt is routed over the pulley and over the
alternator, does it really matter?
@veteran011 The main belt (driver’s side) was released from the top. The
passenger side belt was released from the bottom.
These videos are great! Saved me from spending $300.00 in labor.
