Thank you for this video! This was $17 and 10 minute fix for my 2008 335 xi
— same exact process. Those numerous other forums/videos that require
access from underneath the wheel well are for upgrading to LED lights,
which are brighter and whiter. If you just want to change a burnt out bulb,
this is all it takes.
