Thanks all for subscribing to my channel. If you sent me message or made a
comment and I haven’t replied, I apologize, I’m not ignoring you. I have
been super busy with all kinds of projects. I got so many request for the
manual that I included a link. In the folder you will find 2 files, the
complete E36 manual and the chapter on the 318i headgasket. I hope this
helps and good luck with your projects.

Even though it was a speed up for Youtube, how long do you think this took
you? I’m a BMW fanatic and I have never worked on or owned one with a 4
cylinder variant. I know with my e36 with the m52 it took quite a bit of
work. For some reason on my particular example it took longer than the
4.4l v8 that I did in a 740i (stubborn bolts fasteners). But anyways I’d
be curious, I’m looking at buying a 318ti soon with a blown head gasket.
Thanks man, one bmw enthusiast to another.

Great video man 🙂

Where in the world are you?

rayan et says:

Subscribed. I just did my heater core ( bragging rights ) and when I went
to start my car this morning, I decided to inspect the car before I left.
Found oil leaking from the head and a puddle underneath it and about 70% of
other symptoms suggesting a blown head gasket. Looks like a head problem
and I’m hoping its not warped as I didn’t let it warm up or drove it. This
video is going to save me a lot of money. Thanks for making this man.
Definitely going to tackle this real soon.

Maven remove BMW E36 M44 head in 15 minutes and 25 second by YouTube clock.
He is a bad man! “Great Video!!” My 2 cents I would check vacuum leeks on
the intake before remove. If no vacuum leek I would have take the head out
with the intake connected it would save time and intake gasket, overall
Great Video!!

Ala Al-Barazanji says:

Hey great video. I was watching because Im building the same vehicle with
the same engine. I saw that you never pulled off a vacuum element and was
wondering if you knew anything about it. I’ve been looking for about 2
weeks online trying to find where it goes and I read the book and still had
no luck. Can you please help me out with where it may go or post a picture
of where it is please.
