Is there a universal brake line application that one can purchase? I’m
looking to make this fix myself. It seems that all the OEM replacement
hoses are on an order only basis and I’d rather just grab aftermarket if
there is such thing available.

old time mechanic and part of a dying breed… “` If I had to hire his
services I would and I dont trust easy… ““ What ever his Service fee is
you can rest assured he will do a proper job which is more than can be said
of so many so called mechanics
Sorry, it was a tight spot, and at the time I didn’t have a tripod tall
enough to film over my shoulder, or someone to help film it for me. I used
a Oxy-Acetylene torch. A regular propane torch is not hot enough.
Hi, did you notice if your brakes became stronger after changing line , i
have a passat with same problem, and the brakes seem a little weak. thanks,

I found this video a little hard to watch. All I see is his back. Next time
place the camera so we can see your hands. Also what kind of torch did you
use? Will a regular propane get the metal hot enough? Thanks

Hey dont forget in Audis if you lose your brakes you also lose your clutch.
So you wont even be able to slow down with the engine.
