Lowering Springs for my Audi B9 S4! *INSTALL GUIDE*

Lowering Springs for my Audi B9 S4! *INSTALL GUIDE*

Hey everyone, welcome back to Daily Downshift! We are finally lowering the B9 S4 with dynamic + springs from 034 motorsport. After getting a set of Braelin wheels installed I couldn’t help but notice how high the car would ride, therefore, I decided it was time to take care of the problem. If you are planning on doing this install, note that it took significantly more effort to put in the front springs versus the lower ones due to the amount of bolts that had to be removed. Also, don’t forget a friend to make it easier! Overall, we’re really happy with how the car looks now and we’ve noticed that the ride comfort has not been compromised. Win win. We hope you enjoy!

We're extremely pleased with how the car looks now but this is definitely not an easy job. If you're attempting this install yourself and have any questions, feel free to ask!

Pete Jr says:

God I hate doing springs, such a PITA! This is too painful to watch, can’t finish! Ya’ll just have a shop do it!

harold tapanes says:

Bruh that’s nkush

Zane says:

Great video but you dont have to disconnect the ball joints!

mohammed khan says:

Any rubbing with a full car and when you full lock the wheel? Also what’s the mm drop front and back? Also what size tyres and rims you running on?

Norberto Vazquez says:

You have any clunk from the driver rear? A buddy of mine and myself put lowering springs on our S4s and we both have the same clunk lol. We both work for Audi so I’m familiar with the car but it’s odd it’s only on the driver rear and on both cars.

Carlos Rivera says:

Thanks for your video….very helpful during my installation. The ball joint removal is the worst part, even with the tool. In love with my springs and the drop.

Brown Jedi says:

Is this really as tough as a job as it seems on the b9? Kinda shocked that a shop quoted me $1,080 with alignment but that’s around the price I’m seeing on forums.

ratspam says:

0:53 The jack pad split because it’s a “one-size firs none” product trying to support 1/4 of the curb weight with all the pressure on the edge of the narrow pinch weld.

Manniac says:

nuh i am keeping my sq5 air suspension stock lol…but i think you can get a module to lower it.

Phil Kach says:

Any plans to add 034 upper control arms? Just ordered these, but no install videos for b9.

Rob G says:

Did you need to re-align/recalibrate your headlights after installation? If so, how?

jzn says:

Love the process, ima do all these same mods to my s4 once the funds come in.. definitely a helpful video

Payton Moser says:

What size triple square did you use?

Chill Autumn says:

did you trim the bum stop on the front two?

Nick Burner says:

There b7 but my 2013 said something about it being a b8 but the guys selling all 4 for 100$ and I just aren’t as experienced as you guys but he claims they will fit even tho his Audi was a 07

Nick Burner says:

Hey brother I have a 2013 Audi A4 2.0t and I have the stock coils would a 2 in lowering spring be to much ?

S S says:

Tunes I want for my s5
034 stage 2 ecu, tcu
Sway-bar front and rear
Transmission mount
High flow down pipe
iE’s intake with intercooler.
This would be more than enough for me for street driving otherwise I will keep throwing money and want to buy something else in 2-3 years and never be able to recover my investment.

Enjoyed your video! Fellow Canadian here looking for a pair of OEM S4 front springs to try in my A4 Allroad. Amy chance you want to part with yours?

Zachy Yonk says:

For those who are going to do this themselves just 2 tips. The rear camber works really well with a 21mm socket as well, and for the front upper control arms to put them back in you can hit them with a little scotch brite, and then put wheel bearing grease in the holes for them. But yes get an alignment after this is done. Great job on the video!

Muckman says:

you didn't reset the bushings?

Ajlan Khan says:

Can you share the link for buying springs?

Max Brown says:

Any issues with camber and uneven tire wear after a while now?
