Why do so many people put crappy irritating music on their you tube videos?

curiousdentist says:

Hello, i just wanted to tell you that i managed to install the rear view
camera and it works fine. I took power to the LED light via a wire from the
tail lights.

its quite good… even when its dark outside. 🙂

how is the video quality of the camera?

curiousdentist says:

Thanks alot. Well, the best decision would be to buy a brand new Audi A6
3.0 tfsi with both sensors and rear view camera, makes everything much
easier, hehe.

curiousdentist says:

Yes, i have tried with another 12V source and the LED light works, but not
when i connect it in the car. I agree with you, i think that it is the
checking system that finds the LED has less watts and cuts the power. Sad,
because i really loved the camera. i may connect a resistor or take a wire
somewhere else. Thanks for your answer 🙂

Hi, I had no problems with the LED light… You’ve probably already tried
this…does it work if you connect it somewhere else? (12v) … if it does
it must be something with the connection where the camera goes… the CAN
also keeps checking for blown up bulbs and sometimes because the LEDs just
use a few watts it cuts the power to the LEDs thinking that is a damaged
bulb… but it this case you should have a warning about the bulb. I’m
sorry that I can’t help you that much 🙁

Having the camera is cool but I will also end up installing the parking
sensors… basically you can only look at the screen when you are almost
about to stop… with the sensors you can just look all around the car with
your own eyes wile hearing the beeps… in my opinion both systems
complement each other. All the best and good luck with whatever you decide
to do.

Did u need to re-code the car to accept the camera? I’m looking to do this
on an R8

rightontime01 says:

Hi, i didn’t need to… but as you can see I used an aftermarket radio… i
don’t know about the factory fitted one. 🙁

curiousdentist says:

Thanks for your video. I have bought this rear view camera too for my Audi
A6 (2007). I am wondering if you had any problems with the LED light on the
camera (for the license plate)? The camera works fine but the LED light
doesn’t work.

Good job! 🙂
