Hi Steve, I am not sure why the reset would not have worked. Alternatively
you can reset the light using an OBD reset tool. I hope this helps. Thanks

Hi Nick, You should be able to access your reset menu via the CAR button.

Hi, This sounds like an issue I have ran into in the past with a BMW I
owned. The best course of action would be to have the computer scanned for
any codes/ software updates. This may help to reveal where the root of the
issue is. It may not hurt to visit some Audi forums online which have
helped me diagnose other issues. Good luck!

Thank you so much for info all guys.But I have 1 problem that need
adivce-My Audi a4 2002-I washed it and when started show EPS light on,Then
When i drive ABS also came,Then Oil light red one,The OIL SENSOR,Then all
gear box light together swiched on,PRND,And the car stoped didnt move,I
dont know what is wrong and what to do.-I think some water droped to
mechanical side,How to remote it i dont know,if take to service center will
charge too much.Any Advice?
It works but on my car you must keep holding down the spanner whilst you
press 0.0
I have a 2004 manual and the service indicator did not appear after holding
the wrench button and turning the key. So for anyone that has a manual
perhaps, just hold the wrench button, turn the key, and quickly press the
0,0 button and that will do it. Either that or my car is just weird. Thanks

The scan tool does give you a few more variables to play with (in most
cases). In the case of the Audi, you can change the distance between oil
changes as well as select whether it was synthetic or non synthetic oil.
However, to reset to the factory default the manual procedure works just as
well.
It’s all in the timing…every once in a while a reset may not work due to
software issues.
