Another awesome DIY for Audi B8 control arms. I have watched your other video for the 2 upper control arms :). May I ask why you replaced this lower control arm. I will be replacing the 2 upper control arms soon and thinking if I should replace this lower at same time. Was the bushes damaged on the lower arm and what was the symptoms on the road 🙂
Do I need to do all that to replace a ball joint? What tools are needed for a ball joint , audi q5 2010. Thank you for your help!!
Awesome video, but I did both on my S5 and it’s not as easy as it looks lol. Took me about 3 hours each side because the damn suspension would move forward when control arm is off.

Excellent tutorial. Just wondering my local indie changed my lower rearward control arm but tightened it while the suspension was still jacked up. Its been a while now (6+months) with the corona virus and all. was wondering if its worth loosening it and tightening it properly or just leave it and hope it doesnt fail early.
