I hate it when people try to record video using one hand, then try
to show what they are doing with the other hand. Why cant you put the
camera on a solid surface, then work properly with two hands instead of
‘spray painting’ with the camera – terrible video.
this accord didnt have daytime running lights. if it did, i would splice
into there. OR, theres a fuse in the box that says “DRL” or day time
running lights, tap into that fuse, and ground the negative anywhere on the
chassis thats not painted
ok this is the dumbest way to do this y the hell would u wire them in ur
parking lights when all u are doing is creating another place for it to
short u didnt even make sure it was water tight ur shit is going to catch
fire maybe if u used a quick connect u would be ok but that is to much
work………lazy ass……. oh and its not negative it is GROUND there is
no negative in a car…….. next time u want to show people how to do
something make sure u know how to do it the right way
This video isn’t clear at all, too dark(cant see what your doing), not
enough or clear detailed explanation. You’re other vid’s are better, please
make the how to vid in a brighter place with more lighting and have the
camera steadily held in place somewhere easy to see whats going on.
he is just being a typical internet troll..saying it was done wrong..or
there are better ways..yet not telling what those ways are ..looks good to
me man!
@MrAcid125 just think of it this way. when you turn your headlights on, the
parking lights and the main bulbs are on. correct? so therefore the leds
should work even when your main lights are on. i wired it to the parking
lights so that i could use them in the day time. i dont want to use my
headlights in the day time, so i just use the parking lights.
Hey so how exactly did the wire for through?? You put it where the parking
light should be?? Also if I do put it where the parking light should be…
Will the led turn on with my regular lights??
@cartzar – thank you VERY MUCH for this tutorial. i do want to ask you a
question please, just to make sure i understood this process right. i
understood that you attached the LED wires to the PARKING LIGHT WIRES, so
during the day when you turn your parking lights on, the LEDs will also com
on, right? but at night when you turn your regular lights on, your LEDs
will also come on, right? so they will be on either way. thanks!
If you mean the main headlights, then if you have them wired to the parking
lights, when your headlights are one the parking lights too have to be on,
so that way when you dont want to run your headlights just led and parking,
you can do that. If you mean to jjust be on whenever with no lights
running, then the wiring is a tad bit more complicated because you have to
find a fuse that won;t run power when car is off, and will run power when
car is on
would you be able to give us the link to where you bought these DRL strips
from? or the ebay title? Your help would be very much appreciated from all
of us!!
I give him credit for soldering the wires, which is a MUCH connection than
crimp connectors, ANY day. As for catching fire, nope, not from this.
Others have touch the negative/ground comment. The only thing that I would
say, is that for waterproofing, cutting the factory wires and sliding heat
shrink tubing on first would have been better. Even better than that, put
some dielectric grease on the connection before shrinking the tube.
How long did your LED strip last?Looks like you got ebay LED strip. I got
my one from ebay and it only lasted 3weeks. They were blown one by one.
Shit quality LED.
@cartzar hey why dont u connect the led do the current day time running
lamps? i want its so that the led will turn on during the day and at night,
what should i wire the led to?
Just so you know Ryan a ground wire is also known as an earth wire. Its
normally the one that attaches to the body of the car and most electrical
circuits in cars have a ground wire.

Use silicon RTV to dress the wires B4 you cover them with electrical tape.
That will give you a good waterproof seal to avoid corrosion.
what leds did you get all the ones i find are too far spaced apart
What type of wire do you use?
i know cutting the rubber like that for a splice is definitely rookie. i’d
use a t-tap connector
David, Negative is connected to the car to make it ground.
Dude, did you unplug the battery first or its safe to open up a wire and put
the led wires?
it was creative to do it to the parking light, codo’s for the idea.

yeah, mostly all newer cars have the same setup.
i didnt know which one ran where when active. you should really use a
multimeter, but i didnt have one at the time i filmed this video.
leds are still running strong!
u cut 3 wires.. why u use only 2 wires?
yeah but you should use a multimeter to test if its 12v, some older cars
run 14v and that’s not good for leds :p
…if there is no negative on a car then why does my car battery have a
black terminal?
that is not how you connect wires in a car, you are a retard!
d.c. don’t alternate nutin. wow, people really are clueless.
Cartzar, stay in skooL and keep up the good work! You’ll make bank as
engineer or electrical engineer. Thanks for sharing your expertise!
Should have used butt splices in stead of cutting through the wire’s
insulation

you will notice that he got alot of grief in his previous video for not
drilling a hole
yeah. wherever you want really.

Really just hook them up to – and + and they will alternate with each other?
Did u buy your LED strip lights on Ebay? If so what did you type in and
what was the item called? And are they still going strong?

can i wire the led light with the running lights?
Is the process for a 2005 nissan altima almost the same.?

My mom is going to attempt this her self… Thank
if u connect them to the parking light should it be blink sink light?
@LightningDZ Hi. I will make another video on speciifically how to wire it
like that.
@cartzar hey why dont u connect the led do the current day time running
lamps? i want its so that the led will turn on during the day and at night,
what should i wire the led to?
oh. mine is still lasting. they’ve lasted bout a year now on my mazda, and
4 monthes on this accord
NICE VIDEO….anyway i want the led is open when i start the car do you
have any idea for that???? like the audi plssss reply xD
Where did you buy these from?
Hiya Cartzar, like most others I like the videos, but I’m wondering where I
can get a set of good LEDs like the3 ones you’ve got???
Good shit
