Heat, vibration, and plastic aren’t known for playing nice together, over time degrading and becoming brittle. In this DIY, Aaron Davis, FCP Euro’s Audi Catalog Manager, shows us how to replace the plastic water pump on your MLB platform Audi, such as the A4, S4, A5, S5, or in the case of this video, the Q5, with an all-metal upgraded version. After you replace your plastic water pump with this all-metal version, it shouldn’t need replacement again for the life of the vehicle.
