Audi S4 Clutch & Flywheel Replacement DIY (2010-2016 Audi B8 & B8.5 S4, 6-Speed) – Part 2

►The B8 and B8.5 Audi S4 are some of the best performance sedans to leave Germany in the last decade, but they’re no strangers to maintenance. Any performance sedan with a manual transmission will eventually need a clutch replacement, which can be challenging. Replacing a B8 Audi S4 clutch and flywheel certainty pushes the limits of a DIY, but it can be done at home with the right tools.

If you’re replacing your S4’s clutch, it’s likely because it’s worn after 100,00 miles or the engine’s been tweaked, causing the clutch to slip. Either way, this is your chance to install uprated components. The supercharged 3.0t engine is easily tuned, and its reachable levels require a stronger clutch.

In this video, Mike Hidalgo, FCP Euro’s Professional DIY’er, tackles the second half of a clutch and flywheel replacement on a B8 Audi S4.
