Perfect! Short and concise and extremely helpful!
Along with lots of other people it didn't want to budge. I cut a piece of thin rubber and put it over the little catches to protect them and then. used some needle nosed pliers to gently ease it out. Far more difficult than it needs to be
Excellent much needed video. Another example of over-engineering. A simple battery compartment designed to make changing the battery a challenge with a high risk of damaging the fine small (unnecessary) movable pieces which add nothing to make this easy.
Have you ever changed your cabin filter? Another feature poorly designed compliments of Audi. It is clear Audi wants to make the simplest task a dealer item $$$. My 1-year-old Q5 upon starting showed "change battery on remote key". I put a meter on the old battery and it registered 2.95V. I'd say that was still a very good battery. Why the prompt to change the battery? What is up with Audi? No wonder they have such poor resale. My mechanic warned me, If you buy an Audi – get rid of it before the warranty expires.
So awesome. thanks man
Thank you! I have been fighting with my remote control key for the past hour. Your video helped a lot!
Took me a minute (and sore fingers) to wiggle the battery compartment out, but eventually it worked. Thank you!
Thanks Bryan!!!
Thank you for posting.
Finally got it to work. Thanks Bryan for the help. I needed to use both the rubber band idea and the needle nose pliers.
