Adam IDONTTELL says:

Theres lots of bolt on turbos to look at for the 2.7t, it all depends on
how deep your pocket is. There Frankenturbo setups which are cheaper an can
be run off stock engine management as well as gt28rs eliminators which can
also be ran off of stock engine management. But neither would see full
potential unless you reflashed the ecu.

Jon Kern says:

With 183K on my 2.7T, there is a bit of oil in the intake side of the “Y”
pipe — totally normal. One tech told me “I would be more worried if I
looked in your Y-pipe and did *not* see a slight film of oil!” Good luck!

And wich after market turbos should I look at? Will the engine ecu need
modification? I heard bigger more powerful turbos can overload the engine
and eventually break it. Is this true? Tell me about it man. Thanks in
advance.

Rick Wil says:

Hey bro I’m a Audi Technician and just to let you know, even when you get
your turbos rebuilt they are still going to put oil in your engine. That
just the way they are designed. I’ve seen it a lot at the dealer. But good
luck on your engine. You should look into aftermarket turbos, get more
power .

maouloud19 says:

Thanks for letting me know bro….had I known that before I sent them out I
wouldn’t have because they are working just fine, however I still need to
have the other leaks repaired so not a total loss. Hopefully the turbos
will leak Less than before. Any other tips while the engine is out?
