I have an issue with removing right (driver's POV) headlight since there is a tube connected to the headlight that does not allow me to take the headlight out. Any suggestions? Car specs: Audi A4 Avant B8 2012, factory halogen lights.
Just had this done for my 2013 A4 by the dealership. They replaced one bulb for almost $500. They told me the bulb itself cost $290, and the job required one hour of labor.
Thanks for the info! Very useful! Quick question, around 4:00 : It's really really hard to right turn it back to the position, I merely make it 80 degree turn only (just managed to tighten it a bit). Any tips to turn it back to the correct position? I'm out of strength while doing this…
Thank you very much. I watched this video and was able to successfully replace the bulbs in under 35 minutes. I went for the Osram bulbs, they seem fantastic so far
Sadly does not work on B8 RS4. There are extra screws that need removing to loosen it. But then wriggling it out is impossible as the light fitting protrudes underneath. Physically will not fit through the space. 🙁

I dont understand why you remove all headlight. Easier way change the bulb is take out air filter box.
I actually was able to squeeze my hand and change the bulbs with removing the lamp assembly. I uploaded a video on my channel. Oblast than 5 minutes.
