Definitely not my cup of tea… but, sometimes you got to do what you got to do…😋
So, 2011 A3 S Tronic, or DSG, driving ok, but only engaging reverse and even gears, 2nd, 4th and 6th gears… the selected gear on the cluster blinking, and no 1st, 3rd, 5th or 7th gears available…
In the gear box ecu, a fault reporting that it was “unable to engage 1st gear”, PXXX…
Let me tell you in advance, that I have skipped loads of information on this video, the way things unfolded, I was unable to record every step of the way… that said, hopefully there is still good and enough information to help others, and to shed some light on what was causing the problem and how you can potentially also get yours sorted.

Hi. I have a 2007 Skoda Octavia with the DSG gearbox. After a few miles it keeps jumping into neutral and then won’t work again until you turn the engine off and restart it. It then goes for a bit and then goes back into neutral again. I haven’t got a code reader so any ideas on a possible fault? Thanks.
Ideally basic settings is performed when gearbox oil temp is above 32°C

hi luis i have vw golf dsg 1.6 tdi. when i rang up vw looking for gearbox oil They said mine one was a sealed unit that i would never have to change oil. do you know if thats right.Any help luis I would appreciate that. o yes the car has little over 100000 km on it Thank you

in my country mechanics are changing preassure tube with dq200 dsg rainforced tube that solves many gear change problems
