I’ve had all my hoses replaced including the coolant flange and had the
final hose replaced a bout two weeks ago and now my coolant level is below
min again. Should I check when its still hot or when it cools down?
additional – all those screw clamps you could use a nut driver or a 8mm
socket on a 1/4″ drive ratchet, especially for the tight fits. For the
spring clamps, needle nose vice grips are a life saver.
could a broken coolant flange be the reason for a car to leak coolant? i
have a problem with my 2004 audi a4 i have to put coolant atleast every two
months

The O-ring between the head and the flange could be bad . If it’s bad it
will leak and drip onto the transmission then the floor . look for a
coolant puddle near the rear of the block . It is better to replace the
whole coolant flange rather than just the O-ring, Another part i would
check is your coolant reservoir tank, those things like to split in half
and leak coolant little by little . check and see if if there is white
residue along the edge of the tank . if so replace your tank .
tripod. hand held should only be used for hard to see things. working one
handed is just dumb. Other than that, great vid. I am having to do the
exact same job.
