wow watching your videos make me want to buy a 1999 Acura and work around
in there.

interceptor231 says:

I replaced it my master and slave but today I’ve lost all pressure to my
clutch pedal and I can’t go in gear. Did I not bleed the hydraulics right?
I’m stumped at this point

Faisal Khan says:

i would like ask plz show some video how to remove clutch play

Alex Breg says:

Awesome. Thanks. Just got a ’98 Integra from my uncle. Just had the timing
belt, etc. replaced, so happy to diagnose and fix the clutch hydraulics
myself.

Faisal Khan says:

lovely i have accord 96 and every thing which have shown in your video are
same and your video is very help me out to change my slave and master
cylinders its owsam man

03imac says:

i have a nissan 1990 300zx and my clutch pedal has been acting weird. a
couple of times it would get stuck down and wouldn’t let me put it in gear.
so what i do is put it in and out again and then it acts like normal
again.. also i have been feeling a great decline in power in the car since
then.. could this be both the clutch hydraulics or the clutch?

Dclovescl says:

ive replaced the slave one time on my 92 prelude. had a buddy the first
time made bleeding easy, here recently i noticed my pedal felt weird when i
got in and looked.. really no fluid. poured some in and bled it by myself
just like you. now i need to adjust it cause the clutch engages right off
the floor. but temperatures have dropped fast where i live so it limits
what i can do cause i also need to finish taking the head off a 01 ford
taurus.. not fun guys don’t ever do it. Lol

Dclovescl says:

can you push the rod in on the slave?

Darren Coates says:

Its because some sizes are very uncommon.

Zachary Cramer says:

Wish I had a helper idk what the hell I’m doin I got the right parts though
lol

michaelwindsurfer54 . says:

good job mate!

derg29 says:

Someone likes the A-Team.

calk87 says:

eric do yourself a favor and buy one vacuum pump at harbor freight

Neil Jillett says:

It’s funny watching Eric easily pump the clutch with his hand, working with
the heavy 4×4 clutch in my Hilux, you would need some pretty big arms to
pump it with your hand, haha.

Rajinder Singh says:

Correct Eric, You ever worked on Nissan Stanza’s Before? like 1990-1992?

georules says:

I liked the editing during bleeding at 26:10 🙂

Tony Johnson says:

Can the clutch on a 1990 Honda accord be adjusted?

MegaLewey says:

does the brakes lose compression when you bleed the fluid from the clutch
system?

Goldie3377 says:

Have an ’05 Honda Accord w/clutch probs, stays depressed, & U cannot get it
to engage 1st gear to drive. Whole thing has been sabatoged & mickey moused
2gether by epic persecutors in my area. Take it to get oil changes or other
maintenances only to have ’em not done properly at times &/or sabotaged
w/new probs after. In Cali, I took my 1st Honda to the same lube place &
mechanic the whole 9 yrs there. Here, tried several places, & they were all
in on zombie-like gang stalking. God Bless You!

Walter's Playground says:

do you live in reality?

chicks123 says:

It’s freee!

Mummy Ymmum says:

Allso today, havent seen DOT 3 fluid to buy hear, so only way to see it is
in car and so on. So it’s good idea to change i in firsth plase on mountain
area of world as steam dont have so good force on stoping the car 😉

bluetoll says:

Yes some anti seize is copper based, others are aluminium graphite, lead
and molybdenum to name a few.

Omar Chisolm says:

great job Eric as always.

estrelladelnorte1308 says:

very nice eric!

Mummy Ymmum says:

DOT 5.1 (abs) is most used fluid standard in this part of world (Finland)
and it works great also boiling point rises. But ofcorse that only mutters
if your car use same res on both brakes and cluts.

AwakeDude911 says:

ive done this ! its tricky to come to a stop light though///\\

Guy Wood says:

Glad you’re back Eric. Just FYI, in England we tend to call them flare nut
spanners.

tcpnetworks says:

of course I do. if you want to study before flapping your arse… I mean
mouth, please do so and get back to me…

tcpnetworks says:

Uhh.. Eric. Um. Plz do not clean parts into the rubbish bin… Two words…
Spontaneous Combustion!

AsiAzzy says:

Ok, fair. But i do hope Eric has a proper lift/pit somewhere being a
professional 🙂 Pits illegal in US? wow, that’s new, why? (after 10min
google i see it is legal respecting regulations on venting lighting
covering). I’m on the other side.. I have (access to) the tools (lifts,
brake, dyno, geometry, press, emission – stands, etc) but not much hands on
experience. I work only on my car and friend’s, but with top notch tools
and equipments (laboratories in university for automotive engineering)

reddmonsterr says:

Can you do a video on 2001-2002 civic transmittion inspection ?

Romanflight says:

Eric, I have learned more from you than that gay ass school I went too.
THANK YOU!

Steven Jackson says:

Eric The Car Guy, why is it that on some flare wrenches they are not sized
in increments? for example, the 14mm will have a 16mm on the other end? i
know the 12mm has the 13mm on the other side, but some others are jumping a
size

EmofacePS3 says:

wish my slave cylinder was that easy to get to my slave cylinder is inside
the transmission and you have to take the transmission off to get to it

Blazer02LS says:

Allows the engine and exhaust to move around without leaking.

g6qwerty says:

I’ve rounded off a brake line hose even with a flare tool, and once used a
lighter to heat one up so I could remove it. May have been the cheep
autozone tool was the problem.

FD36 says:

Some of them come in sequential order, I couldn’t stop laughing. I’m so
immature.

bigfoot644 says:

Eric, should also be mentioned that this video is also good for most if not
all 3rd Gen Acura/ Honda Integra’s. Wish I saw this video before I did my
clutch job, would have saved so much time.

Ownagd says:

So, just for clarification, I’m putting brake fluid in the clutch master
cylinder? (or its resivoir as the case may be?)

Ichii87 says:

DOT 3 or 4…how about DOT 5.1?

klong1972 says:

You need a lift

Justin Abellera says:

What’s wrong with that Acura? it’s in several of your videos for different
repairs. haha

pochoun33137 says:

Awesome video Eric, it seems that Honda/Acura has had problems mostly with
their automatics around the late 90s & early 2000s. It would be great if
you made a series or a video explaining the inner workings of
“Honda-Matics” & why they fail so often. Bless.

69penetrator69 says:

You can actually drive with a stuck clutch. To start, put it in first and
just start. The starter will pull you along until the engine starts up.
Shifting is trickier. Going into neutral is no problem. But to shift into a
different gear, you have to match the gearbox speed to the crankshaft
speed. So shifting will only work at certain combinations of engine RPM and
speed. If you’re shifting down, you can blip the throttle while in neutral.
It’s quite fun. But use an old car to learn this.

xanderlander8989 says:

My Accord had a hydro clutch mechanism that was failing, but the T-belt
went first. instead of fixing it, I Bought a 91 Civic – Cable Clutch
ForTheWin!

MurrayMayhem says:

@1:05 just put a return spring on it, lol.

no head says:

2 years ago I bought a 1987 Mazda, with a leaking clutch pump. The fluid
was leaking into the firewall, into the driver’s feet area. It was so bad
that the paint in that area was loose from the metal, and when I peeled the
paint with my fingers, I found a whole lot of rust. So a good advice is: If
your clutch pump starts to leak, repair it IMMEDIATLY!

Dustin Mak says:

By any chance can you make a video on how to swap a automatic tranny to a
manual tranny on a 1992 honda accord, or any fwd honda for that matter.
