What exactly does this magic sequence do to smooth out the shifts? Own a 2013 and my transmission shifts jerky but has always been this way.
just did this to my ‘12 TL thanks, always wondered why it was jerky when shifting into 2-3rd but now it seems good

Drive at a normal speed for about 24 hours, so the ECU can have time to learn your driving style, before Flooring it. This also will also allow the reset to last longer.
