How to Replace Power Steering O Rings in Acura TL

How to Replace Power Steering O Rings in Acura TL

If your 3rd generation Acura TL (2004 to 2008) has noisy power steering it may be due to bad o-rings. Luckily, the parts are cheap and the job is cake. Here’s how to do it.

The video was recorded on a Sony a6500, at 120FPS on accident. Reducing frame rate resulting in odd artifacts in export. We apologize.

"What you dont want to do is drop it"
What if you do drop it…. lol

H Wingerrr says:

If the intake side o ring is leaking it allows air to get pulled in and causes the moaning. The upper one is easy to replace but probably isn't bad if it's not leaking out seeping fluid.

Will this solve a leak in the area?!

Nice video. Thanks! Ordered my O-rings today. Get a telescoping magnet for when you drop those bolts. https://amzn.to/2K1znr7

I would grease the o ring when you install it

Im not sure if I have this problem I will probably do it anyways. The issue I have is my car leaks pinkish fluid but very little few drops in the entire day.

Thanks for the video.  I thought there is only 1 o-ring.  The red one.  Good thing I watched this.  My nephew just bout an 2005 Acura TL and needs tuning up.  Replacing the o-ring is one of the tuning up.  Thanks.

Nice video. Clear and simple directions, the job was exactly like you explained. This fixed my problem and saved me a few bucks doing it myself. Thanks
