Had to sub after seeing this annoying fix!
Nice video, I just recently got the "Tighten Fuel Cap" a week ago & it went away. I just got home from super heavy traffic today & right before parking the car the message came back.
The thing is I know this is a common problem on the 3rd-Gen TL. But I have 4th-Gen (2010) I can't seem to find anything on this no where. Will replacing this solenoid on my 2010 fix this problem?
Bless.
Hey boss by any chance do you know how to replace the driver side exterior door cap?
hey nice video the part looks fairly simple to replace, i got code 1457 from autozone, is this the correct fix for the evap leak? thanks
I need to try, damn light is ma annoying, i hope it works
Just wanted to say thank you changed the purge valve and replaced the gas cap fill tank up within 2 hours tighten gas cap light went off my name is Keith Richardson but somehow my channel got erased yesterday I replied earlier this week keep up the truth you are reaching gear heads!!
Just came across your channel thank you so much for taking the time and tremendous effort to help unknown strangers to keep there Acuras running!!
Does this also solve performance issues? Ex. Car is pretty slow under v-tech in hot weather.
Great tutorial on this part fix. I had the "check fuel cap" light come on but it went away and then a day later I had a check engine light come on. Took it to my local Auto Zone for the code, exact same part as what you have is needed to get the fix. My only question is, where exactly is it located? Looks to be by the battery side..
do the vss sensor next or a video to troubleshoot the /! vsa lights off
ha-ha-ha its true i did this 6 months ago. Anyone who gets the "tighten fuel cap" must do this, due to a faulty evap purge control valve.
Don't you just hate those cheap harbor fright gloves lol they always ripping. I'm going to try the black ones. But great video.
This morning a message appeared telling me to tighten the gas cap, but it was tight and a few weeks ago I also saw the same message. Now I notice and I think it has the same title as the video, could it be that the message of the car is shown because the piece that you change in your video, in my car will be damaged?
What is the function of this piece, or how is it wrong?
great vids. they're extremely helpful. have you done a video on doing a complete flush of the power steering? My TL has been making that whining noise
thanks i keep get it and i replace the gas cap and im still getting it
do you have a part number?
