Johnny Troher says:

camaroglory says:

Why did you use the blue timing belt?

camaroglory says:

one more question will this video manual be a good reference for a H22 2001
prelude?

bloodseedrums says:

@jdubb408 im sorry 🙁

natanddiane01 says:

Go, Eric GO! Great service to fellow do it yourselfers!

EricTheCarGuy says:

@h23sirlude LS and RS are the same the GSR however has a longer belt and a
bigger water pump pulley.

EricTheCarGuy says:

@MisterMattyMo Thank you!

punkenduro says:

etcg ftw!!!

EricTheCarGuy says:

@chadnfs The specs should be listed on the under hood sticker I honestly
don’t remember the exact specs for the valve clearance on that engine sorry
however you WILL need the special tool I show in the valve adjustment video
for this engine as it is the only way to gain access to the adjuster on
that engine. Good luck and thanks for your comment.

bestmastermind951 says:

ERIC! i broke one of the water pump bolts on my 99 acura intgra LS the bolt
that broke is way in the engine soo i was woundering if it will leak when i
install the pump, it was the bolt on the bottem left should i try to get it
out or should i just go ahead nd install it and apply alil more sealant
where the broken bolt is?

EricTheCarGuy says:

@tearinox I’m glad you liked it, thanks for your purchase.

EricTheCarGuy says:

@boolshmool Yea engineers and their ‘designations’.

InfinitePhasesFilms says:

Hi Eric. I had a annoying whinny noise coming from my motor, my timing belt
was to tight. I purchased your tutorial and followed the steps on how to
properly tension the belt and the sound went away. I’m so happy. Thank you!
We appreciate all that you do! :O)

EricTheCarGuy says:

@tsohmas It won’t effect the engine at all however if you leave the stock
PS rack on the car it will be very difficult to steer especially at low
speeds, you can either get the non power steering rack or just run the
power steering it really depends on how you will use the car.

liz3vino says:

Hey I have a serious question. I have a 1990 Acura integra I recently put a
motor from a 1996 integra into it. A couple night ago while driving the
alternator belt busted and we have spark and fuel. Removed timing chain
cover no problem there. Was told to look for a crankshaft sensor???? Don’t
know where to find it. I’m stuck can you help me please.

EricTheCarGuy says:

@DriftingFWWA I’ll talke with Santa and see what I can do. Thanks for your
support.

EricTheCarGuy says:

@beefystik Me and my kids appreciate that very much, they like to eat.

jdubb408 says:

@bloodseedrums lame

halleffect1 says:

just did a timing belt on a B18B1. what a pain.

blinkskaterkc says:

Had me excited there for a second. I thought this was a free vid

EricTheCarGuy says:

@munoz4415 It probably already is but it’s copyrighted so if I catch them
I’ll own them.

Aaron Johnson says:

@gjmvi couldn’t have said it any better myself

darkblaze176 says:

The A, B, D, H, F. are the Series of the block the engine is. The numbers
are the liters of Displacement. and the Final Letters/numbers are there to
determine if its V-tec or not. As well as the Region its for. So if you
have a H22A1 It is a H series at 2.2L or 2190cc ( they Round Up) A1 is Vtec
And A7 is Non Vtec By the way BB2 is the Chassis Code for the Honda Prelude.

beefystik says:

Yo Eric. I bought your other videos, ‘cuz they were awesome. Soon as I get
some cashola, I’ll be buying this one as well. Yer work is top notch as
usual.

slickman911 says:

sweet to bad i own a nissan and not a honda!

sicknessjb says:

Not including dressing up his element, he made a video 3 weeks ago about
finding a brake light problem…. EricTheFATR D:

YotaFan1 says:

Eric can you put that shit on a DVD for me. I want to buy the video not
because I plan on doing one of these timing belt’s but because You have
been so helpful to me on so many projects that I want to encourage you to
keep doing what your doing and do my part to make it profitable for you.
Thanks Eric

USPhotoRecon says:

@bloodseedrums thats not funny

Marx9011 says:

how much cost integra like this in this video in USA or Canada In my
country are prices from 5.000 to 10.000 € non tuned stock

EricTheCarGuy says:

@cjwalker28 Actually once I get past the Honda stuff I hope to move into
other makes GM being at the top of the list.

DriftingFWWA says:

I’m so glad the best car repair guy on Youtube is also a Honda/acura master
tech. I’m gonna ask for all your videos for christmas. Keep the full
lengths coming, Eric. They’re better than anything on TV.

EricTheCarGuy says:

@chorstma44 Just last month I shot a clutch video for a Ford Fiesta but I
haven’t had time to edit it yet but I hope to in the not too distant
future, I don’t have anything on Jeep valve trains at this time but perhaps
at some point in the future.

94PSE says:

Any idea on why a b18a is slow reving while accelerating but smooth on
deceleration? I put it in time with all the required marks and on TDC of
compression stroke. I am stuck at this and can’t figure it out. Any help
would be appreciated.

Barry Riffle says:

Eric would you happen to have a video or advise for a b18a1 power steering
delete. I would like to have the feeling of no power steering and i think
it looks better without it.

hp11208 says:

@blinkskaterkc Lol me too haha

Rey Alvarez says:

You sux ass

EricTheCarGuy says:

@boolshmool B is the engine code just like H is for your engine, it pretty
much tells what block casting is used but there could be other
configurations using the same block hence the other letters and numbers in
the code.

EricTheCarGuy says:

@GammaCruxis I plan to cover other makes and models after I get this Honda
crap out of my head, there is a LOT of it.

TeeAreify says:

Would this be a video to watch if the belts on my ’06 RSX are noisier than
I’d like?
