Hi Reset my 05 accord light like u show it went off after it blink 2 times
I start car put plug back light was off but when I turn car off an back in
it turns on doesn’t go away. So I repeated the steps same thing now it
doesnt even reset or blink .

It works but after every 3-4 weeks SRS light comes back and I have to redo
the same procedure, It’s 2002 Honda Civic LX. Any idea after resetting the
light why it’s coming back again and again. Called the dealer want to
charge $90.00 to diagnose. Any help will really be appreciated.

Apparently, there is something truely wrong with the SRS system. With my
2000 Honda Accord I had replaced the alternator and the SRS light stayed
continuously on. This worked with mine and stayed off after ignition. Like
i said sounds as if there is a true “problem” with your 2001 Civic’s SRS
system. Good luck.

Thanks!!! You are the man!!! 2001 civic. Srs came on after an interior
detail, maybe from steam cleaning the seats. Getting proper contact with
the paper clip is the key. All clear now

@scarface683 check connector under seat, yellow. next take multimeter, set
to 20 dc volts, start car connect meter to battery. have someone rev the
engine up. voltage needs to stay below 15.5v or the regulator is the issue
(according to civicforums post)
