This presentation really saved me a lot of money. I would have been very upset with myself if l had paid money to install this. I did everything as described . The only thing l did differently was that l made my initial cut 17” instead of 17.5. I noticed the base didn’t seat right with 17.5”. Since there was an overhanging between the clip and the cut piece, l decided to shove a packing piece into the groove and everything came out nice. I have the 2017 MDX. I am waiting on the crossbars which would also be an easy fix. I have my hex tool ready. I hope this helps
My dealer actually wants to charge me 1500$ Canadian dollars for the rails.
is it the same concept with the 2007 mdx?
Very helpful. Put it together pretty quickly. Also, ordered the side rails and cross members on Amazon and bought a roof carrier cheaper than ONLY the side rails in Canada!
