welcome, yea dealer techs usually over tighten. better to use the socket, it doesn’t have to be a deep socket, shallow is ok, add an extension. have a nice day.
Thanks for showing this. I just tried to do this job before watching your video. I tried using a Phillips screwdriver, and I just couldn’t get the screws loose. I guess the dealership over-tightened the screws because they use power tools to torque the screws. Guess I need to buy an 8mm deep socket and connect it to my power drill or something…
