Not a problem! I’ll post a link to the valve in the description. You can use the built in search to find the proper valve and other pieces you will need to make it fit. The TL in particular needs an extension for the valve to fit. Same with my friend’s RL.

To tighten, you will need to go by feel since you cant fit a torque wrench on the valve. I would suggest tighten it snugly and in an orientation that gives you best access to manipulate the valve. Space is pretty limited for operation.

Thank you for the tutorial… Can you tell me where I can get this oil valve that you installed onto the oil pan? Did you have to torque it to 29 ft lbs for first time installation, or do you just hand tighten?

Crap, you’re right I forgot that!

For those viewers out there, at least in my TL, turn key to ignition, navigate to Oil Life indicator then press and hold reset button by the gauge cluster. Follow the prompts to reset the MID (maintenance minder).

For the RL, turn switch to ignition > switch MID to Oil Life indicator > press and hold sel/reset on steering wheel and follow on screen prompts.

Thanks Frank!
