Brake Master Cylinder Removal & Replacement DIY Honda & Acura

Brake Master Cylinder Removal & Replacement DIY Honda & Acura

This will be a similar install on any Civic between 1988-2000 and Integra between 1990-2001. It’s an easy job but can be a little time consuming with having to bleed the entire brake system after you have completed installing the master cylinder.

After completion my brakes feel more firm and the pedal feel is restored. I believe this car still needs new pads and rotors which will make the brakes feel brand new.

When I bled the system, I excessively bled them to squeeze out any old fluid in the lines and to have fresh brake fluid throughout.

If you need any help or have any questions, leave a message in the comments and I will respond asap.

Thanks for watching!

According to the Honda shop manual bleeding order is RP, FD, RD, FP. Just FYI

I know this is weird and all but wanted to ask if you knew where I could get headlight harness for a 91 Dx? I was watching this and just thought I'd ask. Haha great video by the way!
