great video and was very clear and straight forward. FYI to all those who are gonna try this, taking the intake boot off was a pain in the a$$. I ended up getting a box cutter and cut the thing off. Once I got it off, it took 15m to put on the new boot ( and i even changed the air filter too).

The screwdriver tip helped a lot. I wrestled with the air filter side of the hose for about 30 minutes. There was no way to get it on with my hands. Got the biggest flat head I had and went on in 5 minutes.
Any recommendations if whistling occurs after installing? Best bet to ensure I have the boot sufficiently covering both ends?
Will this be a cover for a short ram intake on a tl 04?

Just did mine, after 17 years it was dried out and cracked. After fighting it to put it back on, I used a little dish soap on the ends.

Hey Fab appreciate your videos and you saved me ton . Question : my 2000 TL is automatic but running like it’s stuck in first gear , the rpms are low and it’s loud until I hit about 40-50 mph . Any idea what the problem is ?

Wondering if ur tl has a lil rare ticking inside the top of the engine like if a lil thing was hitting against it. Not rod knock or none of that. Its a small lil ticking
