I wanna put 6k HIDs in my Acura TSX reverse lights. I was wondering if this
would melt the reverse light reflectors tho.. I have 8k high, 8k low, and
3k fog right now. all HID 😀
I like the reverse lights the best! They make since for when you’re backing
up, especially with tinted windows. Seeing at night can be difficult with
the stock reverse lights.
what type of hid bulb did this guy use for the reverse ones, was it like an
h8 or h7 type bulb? i want to do it to mine as well and I have an 07 TL-S.
Just trying to make sure I by the correct bulbs that will fit with no
problems.
Depends on how many watts your reverse HIDs are and long how you use them
for. If it’s only for a real short time, nothing should melt, but DON’T use
stock wiring!

that? Independently. Like how they can turn on without turning on the
headlights.
Im confused, dont you have to connect some wires from the hid kit all the
way to the battery in order to get HID’S as your reverse lights? Like how
do you go about hooking this up? I know how to do it for the front lights
because you have to attach some of the cables that come in the kit to your
battery but am not sure what you would do to hook up HID reverse lights.
Any help on this would be great thanks.

ireland/uk and would the device be compatable with 89 golf gti? I’m just
looking for the front headlights to be converted mainly. Cheers
my friend did this to his 3000gt except he added a switch so he can turn
them on and off without having to be going in reverse he says its his “anti
tailgating switch” it works great when people tailgate him.
Who said anything about reflector housings? There are plenty of cars that
come stock with HID bulbs in a reflector housing….one that is designed
for an HID bulb.
does anyone know if since 2004-2008 tl come with hids already and you want
to change the hid bulb to 12000k or something can you just buy the hid
bulbs and plug them into your stock hid kit or do you have to buy a whole
new kit?

this is fucking awesome i have an 05 suburban with limo tint cant see shit
backing up this helped alot, without using rear fog lights
When you go from Park to Drive, doesn’t the HIDs kick on for a split second
for the back-up lights? Is this good for the ballasts/bulbs?

there anything brighter?
the TL is sexy. getting mine this week. those reverse lights are legit

might help..if u havent done so already…

Function it serves is backing out of a 100 foot narrow driveway when I
leave at 4AM in pitch black darkness. Also cost of this is $50.
waste of money on the reverse HIDs.
Does that cause a bad glare on the back up camera? I was wanting to do this
but i wanted to make sure they wouldn’t overwhelm the camera
