Added this to my favorite from now on. Every year when get service, I ask Acura to change the battery on my 2 keys. Going this week but because of the pandemic I wanted to see if I could do it myself. The "valet key" trick is great. Both opened easily. Changing the battery was also easy. What was not so easy was closing the cover. On the spare, it was easy probably because it doesn't move so much. On the one I use all the time, it was not great as the lock, unlock, hold, etc. kept moving. I had to take the entire top off so I can align them all in their proper slots. Happened a couple of times as the panic set in but I finally did it. I have an Acura TLX and my key is slightly different as the release for the key is in the back but essentially it worked the same way. Now…I can take my car in for service this week and not have to ask them to change my battery! Thanks so much for this video!!

the other end of the key, the square one is actually the ''special tool'' needed to pry it open… it fit perfectly into the hole, just a little push will open it and wont tear the plastic away … as i did…
