That's a real nice service kit! I'm going to look for one like that! I'm about to replace my front lower control arms since the bushings are blown and I've started to do it but I need a better puller/separator for the ball joint, my puller is from harbor freight and looks about rite for it but it's just a hair too small to fit over the arm so I'm going to shave one finger just a 1/16th and it'll probly fit and work, it's so close., Nice video!

Your channel has been a God send for my 06 Acural TL! I bought the car for 1500, while the dash had all these lights on, after swapping new tires, new coilovers, camber kit. Getting the car aligned and resetting the vsa, and I had to replace bank 2 O2 sensor. My check engine light was off, my vsa and triangle! Light, along with my ABS lights went off… I did most the work myself but I do have an awesome friend whose worked on Hondas/acuras for 16+ years and as far as he's concerned the guy just put big 20in rims and didn't rest the tpms sensors or the vsa sensor. Next comes brakes (even though the ones I have still have some life) but I figured with the money I saved (car only had 135,500 miles) so it likely just sat for a long while. Oh and the previous owner used the wrong power steelering fluid which I was able to suck as much out as possible and flushed the rest. 5 bottles later and no more noise when turning.

Why did you remove the shock fork? Is it necessary?

@shantor100 says:

My bad, you did remove the ball joint. In my 04 the axle boot is in the way and looks like you have to take the rotor off

@shantor100 says:

Did you leave the brake caliper, brakes, bracket installed? Was there enough room to get the control arm out with the lower ball joint attached. Hard to tell from the video unless you didn't address it

Still have the honda s2000?

@pirihern9329 says:

Have the same service set. Paid for itself 1st time I used it. Hope all is better today. Paz y salud

Cool. For disconnecting sway bar links, you can actually use an impact with a hex (torx, etc.) bit socket and a wrench on outer nut and run the gun clockwise. Works great but easy to goof up and set gun to loosen and strip out the hex.
