im doing my 1st 3quarts and using the oem fluid for the 2nd i plan on using the type f amsoil will that hurt the tranny to mix both types

Just finished my transmission fluid swap thanks to this video. I used Redline D4 x2 and Redline Racing x1. SHIFTS LIKE BUTTER!!!! Thank you for the video help! I would recommend first timers look up how to properly jack your car up first also.

Ok i have a 08 Acura TL i went to the dealer today. An told them that the trans was shifting kinda hard at times they told me not to use an other trans Fluid in the TL because of the blend they use in their trasmissions so i bought Acura ATF Fluid.. I have to say on all the cars ive ever had My TL is the only car that u cant use a Regular Trans fluid.. Please explain this too me im a DIY Kinda guy message me please

Honda, they are very picky about the fluid. They are the only car company that do that just look at the Power Steering fluid is said Honda Recommended fluid only. I know for experience if you put a difference transmission fluid in than Honda fluid you will kill that transmission I did that personally. The reason that those year TL, V6 Accord, RL, and MDX fail is that the material of the clutch suck, the older years was okay on transmission. So people if you put the type-F in I pray for you.
i hope you know that when you use a different tranny fluid then the OEM recommend WILL CAUSE A PROBLEM FOR YOUR CAR. The only reason that Honda 3.0 V6 and upper from 1998 to 2004 have a tranny problem that why they RECALL IT you fool. You suppose to use the Z1 tranny fluid from Honda they build the dam thing but i guess you have more knowledge then them about it. For the record Honda tranny suck but the engine is REALLY GREAT.

Can you explain to me why you’re using Amsoil Super Shift ? and do you know that when using the wrong kind of fluid will damage your tranny right ?
So 3X3 means you have to do this procedure 3 times? I got my 06 TL used and was at 86 miles and i have driven to 96 miles, I dont know when or even if they ever did change the transmission fluid before, should i change it any time soon?
is there a filter i 2006 acura tl?, how to change? could you add fluid in fill hole and drain at same time would that flush out old fluid?
It will not hurt it at all. What you are doing basically is just increasing % of new fluid and slowly flushing away the old. It is actually recommended to do 3 quarts first, drive for a week or so… then do it again.
Do you think mixing 3QT of AMSOIL with the orignal oil left inside will hurt the transmission?

If anyone makes a vid on how to change the spark plugs please message me I know how to do many other maintenance, etc jobs but the plugs seem a bit difficult for me. I haven’t really taken the time to try and change them but I like to observe and then practice(do it) . Thanks!!!
