Thanks for your video. I’m havnig trouble with the spring in the plastic housing …. it seems to push the lever up instead of having it close into the housing. I’m not confident I have the spring configured correctly. Any instruction is appreciated.

Hey, You can Take that PIN out of the lever without taking the entyre seat apart.
Unscrew the 2 screws…lift the lever assembly up & then press out the PIN.
You’ll find that one of the capture holes are broken.
Dykes rather than pliers work better on prying out the clips, btw…..
