Yeah the OEM boot clamp is a much better design. It basically just had a “lever” on the end that you hook in and push down. No crimping pliers needed.

Ziggy Fluff says:

Great vid, only thing I would recommend is to go ahead and replace the inner tie rod end if you’ve already got the part as you are already in there and you’ll want to get an alignment even though you counted threads. It’ll save you some money and time

How is the boot still holding up? Did you ever replace the steering rack? I need to do this repair on my Integra.

Hi there . where did uou buy the kit? Thanks

j ca says:

nice generous video and great job IDIY. Still holing up? My bellows disconnected on both wheels at the front and are still clamped at the rack. It looks like the bellows cleanly tore from the smaller clamp and not torn length wise.
Do you think it would be easier to just loosen the not on the tie rod first then break the ball joiint?

Alvaro says:

Bruh you ain’t show how to take off the tie rod

Werli says:

bro i gotta replace my tie rod ends, i did my knuckle/ball joint the other day and the tie rod threads are just fucked so couldnt tighten it all the way. got a 20 degree deadzone in the wheel rn lmao
