In this video, I examine the rear brakes on the 1999 Acura RL. The rear brakes were worse than I expected, so this turned into a bit of a vlog video. I have some work to do to get the rear brakes back to normal, so this video may spawn a couple other videos.

I can’t believe you just reused those brake pads. Good video until you re used the brake pads that were worn almost all the way down. It’s just bad practice to teach people that. Spend $30 for new pads if your that cheap.
Excellent video as always. Quick question: When you replace the pads with new ones, is it necessary to bleed the brakes at all? I always found that part a mystery in the whole brake pad replacement deal. Thanks
Do the torque specs make a huge difference? I don't have a torque wrench and wondering if it will cause a huge problem if not torqued according to spec?
Man, you are awesome. Keep posting some more Acura RL repairs. I have a 2004 and these videos are super helpful!
I stay in the pnw. Just got a 2000 rl last week. 174k miles. All the videos are super helpful.
You have no idea how helpful this video was yesterday. Thank you so much. Crazy I picked up 99 RL 2weeks ago and you've been making videos of exactly what I need to fix haha.. Subscribed
