10K Subscribers A Big Thanks

10K Subscribers A Big Thanks

There has been many points over the years where I almost decided to pack it in. This channel has always been difficult to grow and maintain momentum with. The content is mostly DIY repair on older Subaru’s so it’s easy to understand why the growth became stagnant. At times I took on more than I could handle alone and it took time to dig myself back out. I’ve lost a lot of interest in cars as the years passed by. I still want and need a good reliable customized Subaru but at what cost of my time will be considered more in the future.

I appreciate everyone that has stuck with me over the years. Likely somewhere around 90% of my subscribers have never said as much as “hi”. It’s become normal for viewers to collect channels to build a feed of videos to select from. Unfortunately most channels just get lost into a vast selection. Being prominent in someone’s feed is becoming more and more difficult. I can’t force people to watch and then interact with my content. It just doesn’t matter to me as much as it once did anymore. The channel makes a certain amount of income whether or not people stop in to say hello and I am fine with that moving forward.

Thanks for watching! The true supporters are the only ones that would have read this far anyway lmao. Thanks for sticking with me. This has been a long project that I will look back on some day and smile. STAY TUNED!

Congrats on 10K subscribers, D-Mac! I’ve followed your humble channel for many years and one of my most valuable takeaways from your content is learning that so much can be accomplished on a Subaru without breaking the bank and spending big money on high end brands. Your resourcefulness and willingness to acquire alternative parts on eBay, Amazon etc have been a great source of motivation for my WRX over the years. I’ve always liked the fact that your videos have focussed on maintenance, practicality upgrades, and repairs, rather than high dollar cars, huge horsepower builds, dyno sessions, and expensive mods. Many car YouTubers seem to focus on this path in an effort to gain sponsorship and millions of subscribers, however I truly appreciate the simplicity and practicality of your Subaru builds. Your content is relatable and obtainable to the average enthusiast who is looking build on a budget.
Keep up the great work and I appreciate everything that you do!
