Use a tard guard to avoid dropping the bolt in the sump

@Steven-rn1oo says:

I just gotta say, I've been working on Hondas exclusively for a while now and ive never had to deal with some shit like that. Videos like this make me thankful i decided to stick with these little rasp machines lol.

@maniacrevenge says:

It's messed up by GM making you remove the engine heads to get to the lifters.

@oscarlandag1831 says:

If you drop it just use another bolt the screen in the pickup wont allow it to be picked up it will just be in the bottom of the pan until you pull it next

@markfsal8857 says:

Mechanics do this type of work everyday .

@gregjohnson2073 says:

How do you get the bolt back on?

@themoddingmuffin148 says:

have a magnet ready

@miners_treasures says:

Snap On truck is still my favorite. "Rob the mechanic is my name and shouldn't be a verb." Damn pocket screwdriver making you spend $65 for 2 pairs of pliers.

@angelcelis9090 says:

Dodge gives you enough space to access that pickup feed bolt. But wow what a nightmare.

@dadadadankable says:

Weird, I heard this distance voice in the background that kept saying you wished you could take an engineer our fishing in Montana.

@dougdunn6417 says:

That bolt is the fucking worst…

@Furyataurus says:

A flat flex head ratchet won't fit???

@joeshmo2827 says:

Zip tie on the bolt.

@steeltree-fabricatingandcu3796 says:

once the bolt is turned out a few turns make a loop in fishing line and slip it around the bolt pull the loop tight and then remove the bolt you cant drop it that way

@bryanblood7063 says:

Gm really screwed people over i had a 2013 Silverado AFM motor lifters collapsed 3 times in 2 yrs of owning it. Then yrs later my dads friend owns a car parts place they had a recall on millions of replacement lifters.
