Hey Pete you got skill and you good teacher.I learned a lot from these videos
About a year ago I went an spent about grand on a bunch paint &body work tools,
thought I could paint ,well we all know how that went. But I’m getting pretty good ,
I even did some repairs for a couple people and now everyone likes the work .I can see this body being a career for me .All thanks to you

You do nice work.I no my body man did my 1970 chevelle SS in a field.we made a plastic tent to paint the car when it was not humid out hear in NY state. It took us 6 months to do the car then 3 months later painted white stripes.he left the white stripes under the paint so he could paint the stripes 3 months later.came out perfect now he got hit by a drunk driver in his truck.he died time for me to find a new body guy.take care pete
I had some stickers awhile back, but they are all gone. Can’t afford to make any right now, kinda like the t-shirts.. Just don’t have the cash to invest.. Take it easy Pete
Thats what it’s all about in life, passing on the experiance and letting someone else have a chance in life to do somthing they always wanted to do.. Glad to hear you are learning and starting your own project. Pete
Hey Pete wat’s up? Never mind work and video’s for you. For me i’m starting to work on my 85 short bed and was wondering about some of the rust that’s on the truck. This will be my first time for body work but I’m a student of your’s for a long time. Man i rreeeeeally appreciate people like you that help people like me.
the spot u r doing DAMN it takes time and patience to do it right and the surface being round WOW it would take me for ever and a day to get it right…..this is the clips I like (cus sometimes i spin around in circles trying to figure out what i am doing wrong) good clip PEACE ………………………………….OF SOMETHING
This is a very interesting repair Pete… Please don’t leave any steps out. Wish I had learned about glass cracks years ago. Hand sanding is a bitch, but like u said, “Body work is art”, plus a heap of technique. Great job my friend.
MMM I may start doing it like that to. I always take a grinder and grind the cracks till i can start to see threw the fiberglass then i lay up on it. I was probably doing more work then i have to.For a fiberglass car it doesnt have much filler?? I get done with one the hole thing is skimed coated with evercoat. that must of been a good mold to make a straight body. I havent seen a straight fiberglass body yet new just sand and paint.idk mine is ruff as hell lol.
Sounds to me your POSITIVE ATTITUDE and the will to say I AINT GIVEN UP paid off.. Take it easy and GOOD LUCK!! Pete
