Yea. you can just replace the nipple, but you’ll still need to remove the manifold, cut the old nipple off and install the new one. There’s a guy on ebay that sells the replacement nipple.
Hey, I almost did the same repair w/ a used or new intake manifold, but found this permanent cheap fix. You cut off the coolant pipes and put on a replacement metal pipe w/ flange that bolts back on utilizing a hidden Saturn stud hole. The problem w/ a new or used manifold is…its probably going to the same thing in time. It saved me the price of a new one and the possibility of redoing this at a later date. hmm…doesnt look too bad. on the older models (99 in my case), youd have to take off this bracked from the block. gotta go under the car for that.
