I installed a Pioneer S622. I removed only the plastic above the head unit. First I set the unit on the plastic and scribed it with a sharp box cutter. Slowly and carefully I cut deeper. When the mark looked prominent. Then I finished along the front with a Dewalt oscillating cutter. I had a new biablo blade that looks like a half moon and cut along the scribe carefully. I test fit and widened the cut on each side and the top. Then I made the cut on each side from the front to the back. The only cut I made on the bottom was the left side bump bottom left corner.I purchased a PAC bezel front dash kit that came with the radio mount. I removed the plastic from the bracket that is intended to hold the rear of the stereo. Screwed the mounts into the sides of the stereo. The mounts anchor into the factory infinity mounting holes on the face and it fits like a glove.

Did you just have to ground the stereo park brake wire somewhere in the dash to override the video playback while in motion?
Why hack up your dash when you can install An alpine ilx f259 or 309? Waaaay better install and a 9 inch screen!
