A local Honda dealer has a 2022 Civic advertised for $27,000 and change.
After watching this video, I contacted them and asked if it was available and for the advertised price, or is it just a hook to get people in the door?
The reply I received was:
" Yes we sell all our vehicles as the MSRP from Honda. Sometimes if a vehicle is in stock we may fit some accessories that would be added to the price online. However this vehicle has just sold."
On Monday I'll see if it's still there.
Hondas have been garbage since the 90s.
Got 4k markup quote from Virginia dealer. I like the EX but don't want to take risk with turbo. My travel is usually short <5 mins rides in one go.

He’s just bad at buying cars. Unless it’s a limited model paying over is the worst thing one could do. The owner is foolish for that move.
Trust me civics are low low to the ground. Pulled too close to the parking curb in one when I was younger and jerked the whole front clip off the car
Civic s from 80s and 90 were so much better. Better quality, built in Japan.
Last new car I bought was in 2010, Mitsubishi lancer $18,000 and change I gave for that car. At the time I thought I was getting ripped off
Our local Honda dealership (here in Ontario Canada) was selling a brand new Chevy Spark for $20000 when it lists for $14K. I laughed, but today I saw the sold sign in the window as I drove by. I don't understand what is happening.
I have the 2018 turbo Civic 6 speed manual with dual exhaust and the direct injection that has the oil dilution problem. I drive it much less in the winter when the dilution becomes a problem. I drive my Honda Fit more in the winter. I will drive the Civic on long distance trips in the winter some, because driving it warmed up the oil dilution is far less an issue. No short trips in the winter for sure and I also change the oil way more in the winter to help even more. Driving my Fit more in the winter kind of stinks because the Civic has heated seats but the Fit doesn't. Oh well!!
I recently paid about $24,000 for a fully loaded V6 2017 Honda Accord Coupe Touring with about 94,000 miles. Did I overpay? I know that with Hondas, that mileage isn't a big deal. (The reason I spent that much is because the Accord Coupe and V6 Accord are discontinued, and lower mileage specimens are even more expensive at around $28,000.)
I can't tell if I overpaid, or just paid more because it's a somewhat rare discontinued car that I had been searching everywhere for.
