This is my 2004 Audi A4 B6 1.8T Quattro Manual Ultra Sport Package aka Skarlett. She’s running APR Stage 1 and a few little upgrades. I am doing my best to keep her running until I have the opportunity to transform her into a badass.
For now, I am keeping up with the maintenances…showing my B6 Love on the channel!
In this video, I have diagnosed that my siren stopped chirping and alarming when the emergency button is pressed. There is no sound coming from the alarm. Previously, before it died the alarm would go off randomly through the night for several days to weeks. I had no idea at the time.

Hey Andrew, great vid. easy to understand without unnecessary info. Mine is an '08 A4 Cabriolet (B7). Would the process be the same for me? Just don't want to be messing around with something that I shouldn't. Cheers!
Hey thanks for the video. I also have a b6 where the alarm was silent. Until I came across your video, I figured the previous owner may have turned it off as I seen some Vw owners have to theirs on same year cars but not the case. Again thanks for the video Audi brotha from another motha 😉 ps I also have a black b9 as well.
I have a channel where I work on a b6 1.9 TDI as well, enjoy !
Instead of just swapping it out what I did is I cut the module open and took the batteries out so it doesn’t cause failure later again
Andrew, how long did the job take you? I'm debating whether to get my mechanic to do it or myself, only if I can find a working siren on eBay. Only cos it's parked outside his workshop and I'm keen to sell it. The guy that's interested in buying really wants the alarm to work and I understand why in his particular situation and it could literally be a dealbreaker, even though most people realise those things only work until the battery runs out which is definitely less than 10 years.
The last real Audi. All TSI are crap.
