The engine in my Lamborghini Espada isn’t well, it started losing cooling water when we were on the Lamborghini Espada 50th tour last September and it’s time for an engine rebuild. That’s why I took it up to Iain Tyrell’s mega workshop https://www.iaintyrrell.co.uk/ near Chester a few weeks ago and here, he starts stripping the engine.

A lighter crankshaft.And a lighter intake manifold.
And A better piston wall lubrication system
Drill holes in em like the Toyota Celica Gt for better oil consumption.
Make em stronger
Hi ,I Think Harry should have put the word out as to his intension to re build the car,as I am sure some one out there in the shed, garage or warehouse would have a sack of Espada seed he could have sown ready for the on coming famine .Another great video of an expert at work and an expectant Farther.
Moon roof with 3M Crystaline film blocks 90-97% infrared with 99% UV rejection and blocks minimal light.
I found an espada for sale $59K body fully restored but Mechanically needs work .wonder how much an engine rebuild cost? $20 30K?? I am so tempted to pull the trigger on it! Beautiful car and they chvae come down in price in the last few years .. perfect time to buy one!
Looking at this Vid reminds me…most of the time i'm pissed and broke !
This is really nice. One can see Harry’s excitement and expectation to bring his engine up Miura spec, while facing design limitations. This is something we all can relate when rebuilding our cars…
Did you drill the galley plugs out of that crank and properly clean it ? Always amazed how much debris comes out of there, also amazed how many mechanics skip that step. Those con rods should also be in the scrap bin, titanium Carrillo's are best but steel will do.
I sir am highly aroused by these motor parts
The nerdiness level is off the scale. I love it!!
My favorite engine in the world
Sprayed aluminium on exhaust manifolds looks great, works great.
