🔧 How to replace a sway bar and/or sway bar bushings | Lotus Elise

In this video, I’ll show you how to change the swaybar bushings on your Lotus Elise or Exige. Changing the entire swaybar isn’t much different, so you could definitely follow this video if you’re installing a whole new swaybar also. Tools and torque specs below.

Remember I’m not a professional and probably neither are you. You could get hurt doing this stuff. Sure, I make it look easy, but if you don’t know what you’re doing please consult a pro!

Tools needed:
– 17mm socket
– 17mm wrench
– 8mm socket
– 6mm allen hex key
– Breaker bar
– Torque wrench
– Floor jack
– Jack stands
– Drill + drill bits
– Rivet gun + rivets
– Impact gun (nice to have, not required)

Torque specs:
– Swaybar mounts – 18 ft-lbs
– Swaybar end links – 33 ft-lbs
– Shock top / bottom mounts – 33 ft-lbs
– Wheel bolts – 77 ft-lbs
