For the guys wondering about the rear one you will need to purchase a electric break service tool…
Jersey Boy. Nice video. How many miles were on your RX when you replaced the front pads? Also, many of us want to know how to retract the rear caliper pistons since the parking brake is electronic. That itself would be a nice video.
Can you please, tell how to replace rear one. There is an electronic parking brake unit behind the rear caliper and it is not allowing the piston to retract back. I would really appreciate if you can show the procedure for that piston to be released. Also, my question is, if it is okay to use some lubricant on top and bottom of the pads, you know those horns on top and bottom which are going into caliper`s groove? Thanks a lot.
wow 2016 RX need brakes already.
How many miles did you have that you needed new front pads already? Have you replaced the rear pads since your video?
