I want a leather kit for my 03 expedition what might that cost?
What color did you go for on this kit? Cant tell if its black or a darker grey.
Does it come with all of the necessary clips for install?
have you done a video of the newer style ford pickups that use plastic clips vs the hog rings? if so can you post the link? thanks.
Very good video. I found this really helpful to understand all the little details.
When u did the headrests on my '15 F150 the padding was able to be removed. I put the padding in the headrest cover first then slid the headrest mechanism inside the foam. I didnt need to steam or use silicone spray.
One of the best how-to car videos. Thank you for showing where the clips are for unlatching, as well as explaining what can come off with pressure vs. what can come off with snip-clips etc. Great tutorial!
I followed this video 5 years ago when I bought the Katzkin leather interior. It really wasn't that hard, it took me the weekend to do it and I did all but one thing myself. The only peice on the f150 that gave me trouble was the center console. I ended up taking it to an upholstery shop. Charged me $100 to do it. Anyway, after 5 years leather still looks great and everyone that sees it says it looks like it was done at the factory.
is this real leather or pleather..vinyl??
The plastic bag is for suction not spray. If you use a shop vac and suck the air out of the headrest the leather with just slip over. No spray needed.
How about you do a Scion xB!
So what your saying here is just buy a truck with leather already in it.
what a pain in the ass, I need to change one seat, and this makes me rethink it
why not put them over the current seats it takes less time less complicated and if you want to sell it better for the car value
chris,
i wish you were my neighbor.
