My 2014 rogue select does not have the springs for the pads , did nissan eliminated those springs?

Super relevant since the woman likes to wait until the last second to brake in her Rogue. lol
Good video that shows how easily this can be done. A few things I'd do: (1) Check the wheel hub for corrosion and remove with a wire brush so the rotor seats properly (2) Clean then lubricate the slide pins with 3M silicone. (3) Replace the brake hardware. (4) Lubricate the ears of the brake pads and the "fingers" of the brake caliper that are touching the outer pad with 3M silicone. (5) Saw that the cap to the reservoir was removed, but many people (including me on occasion) won't remember to pay attention to the level of the brake fluid in reservoir and remove some if needed as they're collapsing the caliper piston. (6) Mention re-seating the brake pads and piston by pushing on the brake pedal.
