oh yes, this is the hardest plug to remove. you will need a 8-10″ 3/8 extension, 3/8 ratchet, 3/8 universal/swivel adapter for the 5/8 “spark plugs socket” to the 3/8 extension. its a very,very tight spot. the 5/8 spark plug socket have a rubber boot inside, so the spark plug can remain fix to the socket when removal.When installing the NEW spark plug, be-careful not to damage the porclin or close its gap. use a 12″ 3/8 rubber hose to install the plug then finish off with the socket/ratchet.
I have an 03 xterra which seems very similar to your truck. How do I get to that #6 spark plug? I have just a basic ratchet set along with a straight 12″ extension. I was able to get the other 5 but got worried about that last plug and chickened out. Will I be able to get it?

Think before you speak your an idiot, he was simply fixing a previous customer / owners fk up with putting filter on backwards and he was simple correcting the situation.

If you mean cab, it is more than likely next to the gas tank inline with the gas lines, sometimes hidden by access panel.
fuel pump is usually inside the gas tank, But regular fuel filter is usually on the gas line beside the gas tank visible to the eye or sometimes under a panel that protects it from the exhaust system.

hey man ur an idiot when u put the new fuel filter on u put on backwards. look at how the old one was compared to the one that ur stupid ass put on. Put them on right there is an arrow on it saying which direction the fuel flows. STUPID STUPID
True. This is why you should make the change and inspect the content of the fuel in the filter. Different Gasoline vendor have different level of contamination. so place and location may varies,but it up to the driver to find a best mileage. in the NC area its around 5000 miles.
HOw many miles before you replace your fuel filter thats dirt in your old fuel filter.

If u follow the Gasoline fuel line from the engine , you will find the fuel filter mounted in the line. This is a General trick for All make and model automobile or internal combustion engine. good luck.

Hehe thank you but a simple V6 or V4 or Supercharged would have done it. I had hard time finding it on mine 2001 V6 since some are inside the fuel tank but now watching this its just easier. Thanks I sincerely appreciate it 🙂
Its a 90 degree V6 3300 cubic centimeter(3.3 liter). Its a EX model with 4×4 with A/C, no power window/seat or luxury feature.Very light truck and quick. Lots of power. the front suspension is questionable(torsion bar with no coil-over shocks). The 2004 model is supercharger,wish i had.
