I show you all the steps and techniques to guide you through a DIY fuel filter change on a MKV Volkswagen. This tutorial should work for MK5 Jettas, Rabbits and GTIs, but some models models might be slightly different. For this how to video, I replaced the filter on my 2007 Rabbit with the 2.5L engine. I hope this was helpful and subscribe for more videos on the Rabbit and my Miata!
Love quick videos. Car looks great too, nice wax job.
This video helped me a lot! Much Appreciated!
Did you not remove the fuse for the fuel pump and start car to clear out some fuel from the line?
please don't steal the gloves from Dr office any more
Danbury here, thanks for the video!
We have a 2006 VW Caddy (In Australia). Identical filter, but different location. Perhaps leaving the bracket on at first is a good idea. It might be easier to pull the lines off with the Bracket holding the filter tight. If I try it again, maybe I'll do that.
We got a used Caddy with 190K on it. After the filter was changed it made a significant change in the performance. Took 20 minutes at the most.
Nice video, Thanks for posting.
I live in Connecticut too
This looks like a petrol car
What is the benefit of changing the filter? I just bought an 2007 rabbit with less than 100k miles and was wondering if this is something I should get done.
Great now i can fix all of the rabbits.
are you ever going to put a catback on your vw?
Great straight to the point video. Might not have to pay other to do this.
Exact same place on my VW polo! Pretty sure you don't get them there haha. Great video!
you have a monotonic voice, improve on that, otherwise nice video
